Michel Tabori
Time to Pretend, 2009
Mixed media and resin, 45 x 45 inches framed
Michel Tabori is a painter based in Los Angeles. According to Tabori, “The surface of the canvas is never the primary focus. Nor is the use of resin as a finish. Instead, it is about continually shifting relationships between optics and pigment that interact not only on the canvas, but also with the reflections of light, movement and obscuring forms in the surrounding environment.”

Jim Laser is a photographer based in Seattle, WA. According to Laser, “the digital revolution allows me to expand my work in previously unimaginable directions. The popular conception that photography is currently done with little effort is a myth. I actually now take even more time to make a fine print. The possibilities for improvement are endless and I have the knowledge and system to go further than ever. A favorite motto is: If it’s worth doing, it’s worth over doing.”
